Anna Filipova

Biography

Anna specialises in the Polar regions where she explores environmental topics based in remote and inaccessible areas. She has worked for the International New York Times and Reuters and has been published in CNN, BBC, The Washington Post, and The Guardian.

She has worked and collaborated on environmental and conservation projects with some of the biggest scientific organisations such as CERN, NASA, National Science Foundation, Ministries of Climate and Environment in Norway, Denmark and Greenland, amongst others.

Anna was selected by Anne Hidalgo, the mayor of Paris (France) and President of C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group, as climate heroin.
